About Us
Carl Rogers
Carl is the director of the firm which has been established since 1998. He qualified as an accountant in 1971. His colourful career has taken him to Bermuda where he spent five years practising as an accountant on the coral sands under the shady palm trees. On returning to England, he opened a shop selling arty ceramics after which he decided to go to university. Here he obtained a first class honours B.A. followed by a Ph.D. Carl resumed his accountancy career in 1992 and has helped to build Rogers Paulley into the successful and friendly practice it is now. In his spare time, Carl goes to the gym, enjoys music, the theatre and socialising.
Jason Wilcox
In 1999, Jason graduated from Manchester University with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance after which he worked in practice in the north of England before relocating to Bath in 2001. In 2003, Jason qualified as an chartered accountant and for the past two years has worked as a partner before joining Rogers Paulley. In his spare time, Jason enjoys socialising together with keeping fit at the gym.
Rachael Rackham
Rachael has been working in practice for 12 years. She graduated in February 2004 after successfully completing her ACCA examinations. Rachael has been working at Rogers Paulley for 7 years. She enjoys the flexible working environment and is always willing to give assistance where she can.
Simon Preen
Simon is the newest member of Rogers Paulley. He started training as an accountant when he left college at the age of 18. Simon joined from a large company of Bristol accountants. With 8 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Simon is awaiting the results of his final ACCA examinations. When Simon is not at work, you will find him relaxing at the poker table or watching his favourite TV programme "Eastenders".
Paulina Biela
As the administrator and credit controller, Paulina ensures the efficient running of the office. Paulina gained degrees in both Political Studies and International Relations whilst at university in Krakow, Poland. Paulina has a wide-range of experience working in both Poland and Bristol. In addition to her native Polish language, Paulina also speaks fluent English and can also converse in Czech. Outside of work Paulina enjoys going to the cinema and reading.
Alison Rogers
After graduating at Leeds University, Alison spent 15 years working in continental Europe for several international computer manufacturers. On returning to the UK, Alison successfully obtained an MA. She is now working for her brother-in-law, Carl. Alison is a qualified bookkeeper.
